HVR has an established track record of successful work placements for Consultants seeking short to mid term work opportunities. We are happy to consider any individual with specialist knowledge or skills for inclusion on our database. Examples of other specialist areas outside of our core capabilities can be seen in Figure 1 (right).

HVR currently has enabling arrangements with MoD, DSTL, BAe Systems, ICS, and has sound relationships with many more organisations primarily in the Defence sector. However, it is our intention to expand our business base into the Transport sector.

Points to Include:

Academic Qualifications - The more the better especially if at 1st degree or higher. Service leavers should try to equate military qualifications with civilian.
Membership of Professional Bodies - This serves to give some credence to track record and claims of knowledge.
Security Clearance - Please state if you have security clearance, at what level and when it is due to expire. Please also indicate who owns your clearance.
Specialism - It is always useful to know what you consider to be your key area of expertise or interest. Whilst many claim to have a multi-disciplinary background, suitable for example for general management, most will have an emphasis or bias toward probably no more than three key specialisms.
Rates - Please indicate the level of daily or hourly rate you would consider. This may be flexible dependent on location, expected travel requirements etc.
Geographical Preference - Please let us know if you are constrained in your desire or ability to commute or to work away from home.
