We undertake a full range of safety services, including developing and implementing safety management systems and supplying safety managers and safety teams for major projects. Our trained auditors act as Independent Safety Auditors for clients who already have in-house safety management capability.

Our clients meet legal obligations associated with potential equipment/operational hazards through our safety engineers ensuring risks are actively identified, investigated and mitigated against. We apply innovative proprietary approaches, such as Hazard Finger Printing, to undertake “system of system” safety assessments in a cost effective manner. In procurement projects we work alongside client system engineers to ensure safety assessment influences the design at an early stage in the equipment lifecycle reducing the risk of costly downstream design changes.

Our effective assessment and management of project safety is demonstrated to key stakeholders through a “Safety Case” approach. HVR Safety Cases provide a clear audit trail for the safety assessment, demonstrating that the legal responsibilities of the project manager and company directors have been discharged competently.
